Ancient Egyptian Storytelling

Well, it has begun… Rehearsals for my ‘tour’ 🙂 This is both exciting and terrifying, of course I know the stories as they have been part of my life since childhood. Knowing them well enough, and being able to present them to others in a coherent form is something new.

I’ve had a lot of help from my local storytelling group the Dover Tailspinners, as well as a great boot-camp last weekend with Jason Buck. Still, I feel a long way to go but I will do it. Those of you who have seen my talk will know my manic and passionate approach to presenting, so all I can say at this stage is it will be an interesting experience.

Now I’ve got rid of the most of this nasty cold that is going around I will begin the full rehearsals to camera, to help me understand my delivery. Should any of them be OK as I get closer to the time, then I’m sure to post them up either here directly or via my YouTube channel.

To keep track of where I will be performing, please jump over to the events page for details. Thanks and I hope to see many of you there!

Winter 2017

Hi all,

Its been a while since I last did an actual blog post properly and I think its about time I did considering recent events.

Towards the end of October 2017 I was reaching an impasse on the writing for my next booklet on ritual magic, been going round in circles with way too much information to put over and for the crucial parts that were from my own quirky touches. In the end I decided to ditch a years worth of work in favour of skipping onwards for the following item; a full sized book on Kemeticism.

Its something I’ve been wanting to do for a long time following the release of ‘A Path Laid Bare’, but just couldn’t for some reason. However in the past few years my path has taken some interesting turns and opened up some new vistas which have necessitated a significant amount of review of what I know and do.

Then can a bewildering week of an intense stream of ideas for this new book that I have decided to withdraw as much as possible from any obligations or events that I would normally fill my time with, to focus on this new work.

A month in to this new regime and I’m happy about that, I’m just keeping my sessions at Pure Magik and the Healing Circle on Second Life going. All moot activity has stopped and so far I don’t think I’m missed – certainly not had anyone chasing me so that’s helpful. Its been quite refreshing to more-or-less cut social media activity too!

Writing is piling up with 100’s of pages so far and perhaps two book’s worth – maybe. Still early days of construction.

Looking forward to what the winter brings and the inspiration it contains.

Forging Magical Intent

I am thrilled to announce the availability of my fourth work, and third in the booklet series called ‘Forging Magical Intent’. This one focuses on spell craft and working with symbolism:

This booklet is for those of us who want alternatives to wordy
spells in order to forge our magical intent. The problem may be
caused by many reasons: perhaps we don’t have a poetic bone in
our body due to lacking skill, vocabulary, interest or even a lack
of time.

Remember, spells do not have to be words for there are many
ways to alter reality.

New YouTube Channel

Kicking off the new year by uploading all of my Second Life audio recordings onto YouTube for your listening pleasure.

The plan then is to do shorter (less than the usual hour long Second Life ones) on a regular basis focusing on individual topics which interest me, and hopefully you too. 🙂

The channel can be found at [https://www.youtube.com/channel/UC5jLSPwKna48DIsYmsuRbkA]

Any comments or suggestions then please do pass them on.
